How Consignment Works
1. Consigners contact us about what they want to consign. Sometimes they come in the door with a single item. Sometimes they call about a whole house, warehouse, bequest or collection to sell.
2. We evaluate the items using a number of tools including past eBay sales and other research.
3. We examine, photograph and measure each item and write a clear description.
3. Next, the eBay auction goes up. We use different starting prices depending on the item and condition.
4. We watch the auction and answer bidders' emails and calls.
5. When the auction ends, we pack and ship everything and receive payment.
6. The consigner gets a check in the mail.
